CREATE – The Journey

The Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship and Technical Education (CREATE) was conceived and established in 1991. The core founders of CREATE, a professional couple, Dayanand Tandon and Shubhra Tandon, already had experience both of the banking sector and also of entrepreneurship development.

Armed with this exposure and also a vision that they could possibly put their experience and expertise to greater use in their own vibrant and holistic setup, they decided to set up CREATE.  

One of the founder members is a lady and thus CREATE is a woman lead organization.
