Education Interventions

Here CREATE worked closely with parents of children in the age group of 3-6 years and motivated the parents and community to send the children to the Nand Ghars. To retain the children, CREATE team has made the school environment more appealing and teaching learning process more child-friendly. Child friendly teaching devices, practices and monthly events have played crucial roles and LED display installed by CREATE in these Nand Ghars also created a lot of excitement among the children.

Through CREATE’s efforts the parents are also now motivated and attending PTM/Parents’ Teachers’ Meeting at the Nand Ghars. This involvement of parents in their children’s pre-school and Nand Ghar governance is unforeseen in the region. As a result of CREATE’s efforts the attendance of children have also gone up from approximately 35 percent to approximately 80 percent.
