Our Team
CREATE currently has a total team strength of 56 members. This includes programme staff and support staff. Of the total strength, six are senior management members, and remaining 50 are project staff.
Approximately 70 percent of CREATE’s total team consists of woman members. CREATE is a woman led organization, with its secretary being a senior woman member and one of the cofounders.
Shubhra Tandon
She is Secretary of CREATE and leads training, development and publication cells. She has been instrumental in giving direction to CREATE partnerships with WaterAid India, Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society, Mahila Kalyan Nigam, Directorate of Industries, etc. She is a social activist and an active core founding members of CREATE. She is also a member of national level networks called FORCES and FANSA that address issues of children in the age group 0-6years and also water and sanitation. She specializes in organizing training programmes for trainers and development managers on various social and development issues and also in advocacy initiatives.
Dayanand Tandon
He is one of the core initiators of CREATE and is a a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). Prior to setting up CREATE, he worked in scheduled bank for eight years and as a trainer with a state level training institute of the Industries Department for seven years. In CREATE he has played a key role in planning and implementation of large scale social development projects for women and children in education, health and livelihood. Also, he has successfully given direction to the CREATE team on several research studies on social issues. During his tenure at CREATE, he has enabled quality intervention delivery to multilateral agencies, international NGOs, a large number of government departments, national level organizations, MNCs and PSUs.
